Co-Chair: Benjamin M. W. Tsui, Johns Hopkins University
Zhiqiang Chen, Tsinghua University
This is the tenth in a series of biennial meetings
with the aim of bringing together
academic and
industrial
scientists who are
actively involved in
research relating to fully three-dimensional
tomography in radiology and nuclear medicine.
To encourage
discussions and the
exchange of ideas
and techniques in a
small and intimate
setting, the
attendance will be
limited to about 180
participants.
The main meeting
will consists of a
plenary session, 10
oral sessions and 3
poster sessions. The
topics will include: discussion and poster sessions.
The topics for the meeting include but is not limited
to:
- Mathematical
and numerical
aspects of fully
3D image
reconstruction.
- 3D and 4D
image
reconstruction techniques for PET, SPECT,
CT, and MRI.
- Dynamic (4D) tomographic imaging.
- Improvement of system performance,
by accurate
system model in
3D
reconstruction, in 3D reconstruction.
- Optimization of geometry and sampling
strategies for 3D acquisition.
- Assessment of image quality of 3D reconstructed
images.
The scope of this meeting will not include topics
that are adequately covered at other meetings, for
example general MR imaging or image analysis and display
techniques, except where there are implications for 3D
acquisition or image reconstruction.
