Abstract Format

Please prepare your abstract using the new (Oct 2005) IEEE format considering the following guidelines:

Since the IEEE does not provide the LaTeX example file anymore, we offer the following template file: LaTeX example file.

For LaTeX user, if you get one column text using the sample file, you may have to update their systems to get the file IEEEtran.cls, Version 1.6c or later from the IEEE Site . It provides sample code for a two column document.

The downloadable file TRANS-JOUR.DOC is provided by the IEEE. You can also use TRANS-JOUR.DOC as a template in your abstract preparation.

Revised Abstract Submission

Deadline for revised abstracts is July 15, 2009. Please use the same file format used in the abstract submission for the revised or final abstract submission. The 4-page pdf-file should be submitted as an e-mail attachment to fully3d2009@tsinghua.edu.cn. Please indicate the first author and the title in the subject line and provide the filename of the pdf in the body of the e-mail.

Oral Presentations

Depending on the number of accepted abstracts, the total time allocated for each oral presentation will be 25 minutes including 5 minutes for questions and discussion. Please prepare your slides using Microsoft Powerpoint (*.ppt). We will have copies of Microsoft Powerpoint 2003 application available at the conference. For pdf-files an Acrobat Reader Version 8.1 will also be available. The Powerpoint file for the presentation must be submitted to the registration desk at least half an hour before the session of the presentation. If you prefer to use your own laptop computer, please notify the front desk at least a day in advance so that arrangements can be made to check the setup.

Poster Presentations

The posters will be posted from Monday to Thursday in a special poster session room. Please prepare your posters with a height of not more than 140 cm and a width of not more than 100 cm.
