Dear Colleagues,

The 10thInternational Meeting on Fully Three-Dimensional (Fully3D) Image Reconstruction in Radiology and Nuclear Medicine will be held at Tsinghua University, Beijing, China, September 5-10, 2009. The Fully3D meeting has been the most important international meeting at which scientists in academia and industry can present their latest work, discuss current research topics, and exchange ideas on multi-dimensional image reconstruction for biomedical imaging including x-ray computed tomography (CT), positron emission tomography (PET) and single-photon emission computed tomography (SPECT), and other related applications. This is the first time the meeting will be held in Asia, and we hope to attract an increased number of participants from the fast-growing Pacific Rim area to promote greater interaction and collaboration among scientists throughout the world. Beijing is a beautiful city full of history and culture and is easily accessible from major cities around the world

In addition to traditional in-depth discussion on state-of-the-art research issues on advanced theory, implementation and evaluation of multi-dimensional image reconstruction methods through oral and poster presentations, we plan to offer short courses on the fundamentals of multi-dimensional image reconstruction algorithms and methods and workshops on high-speed computing techniques and other topics. We anticipate the 10th Fully3D meeting will be another successful one, with ground breaking discoveries, significant advances and expanded understanding of multi-dimensional image reconstruction methods and their applications to biomedicine and other related fields.
